As we enter 2010, we are reminded of the ones we've touched this past year. Even with the economic problem worldwide we were still able to touch lives in our small world. With some generous donations in 2009 we were able to touch many hospitals, nursing homes and care facilities throughout Arizona. Hearts were touched in Yuma (Yuma Regional Medical Center and Amberly's Place), Casa Grande (Casa Grande Regional Hospital), Show Low (Pediatrics in the Pines and Hospice of Arizona), and many Phoenix area facilities; St. Joseph Pediatrics, Maricopa Medical Center, Banner Thunderbird Hospital, Cardon Children's Hospital, Mendy's Place, Desert Mission Clinic, as well as Hospice of the Valley and Hospice of Arizona.

This year of 2010 we were able to spread some Valentine Love with toys shipped to Tucson Medical Center, University of Arizona Medical Center and Yuma Regional Hospital. Local deliveries were made to St. Joseph Hospital, Cardon Children's Hospital, Maricopa Medical Center, Banner Thunderbird, Banner Estrella, Mendy's Place and Desert Mission Clinic. Many acknowledgements were returned from staff members as to the joy that we were able to bring to their children and adults.

We were also able to give stuffed toys to Hospice of Arizona for their outreach program. This program touches both children and adults that have experienced the loss of a loved one. The City of Phoenix Prosecution Office, Victims Service Unit also received some special toys that will be given to children who accompany adults in court sessions. It is hoped that these toys will give some comfort to them, as they may be unaware as to what is happening in their lives.

Our furthest outreach was to Afghanistan. With the help of PVT Jared Matthews of the tenth Mountain Division, we were able to reach our troops in that far away area of our world. In 2009 we purchased small yoyo's, tops, balls, paddle balls, etc. at a very reduced price. These items were too small for our Summer Sunshine Program, but ideal for our troops to carry in pockets to pass out to children in Afghanistan. We hope to keep you updated as to our progress in this area.

As 2010 progresses we'll continue to touch children of all ages. With Easter just around the corner, we've had a request from Desert Mission Clinic which we will be able to fulfill. We will also be in touch with area hospitals as the year progresses.

To all who read these words, please remember that it is through the outreach of you, with your donations that we are able to touch the hearts and minds of children of all ages.
