What do a group of happy people do when Christmas is over and all of the "Lost Bears" have found new homes? We look for a mid-year project to put our energy into. Summer Sunshine is the summertime pastime of the OWL family. This is a time when we are able to reach out to organizations that help people in need and show them that love here year round.

In recent years, we have participated in projects for the American Cancer Society and delivered toys to children at Maricopa Medical Center children's ward and burn center, St. Joseph's Hospital, Phoenix Children's Hospital, Banner Desert, Banner Thunderbird, Hospice of the Valley, Hospice of Arizona, St. Mary's Food Bank and Desert Mission Food Bank.
